Brown Rigg Lodges - Cheviot Lodge

Cheviot Lodge is one of 4 lodges set in a rural and quiet location in the Northumberland National Park and in the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park. Sleeping up to 6 people the lodge has recently been refurbished. All rooms have stunning views over the open countryside and you can watch the resident sheep and horses grazing. National Cycle Routes 10, 68 and the Sandstone Way are nearby. Also located directly on the Pennine Way Walking Trail. Close to Otterburn wedding venues. The space Cheviot has a spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. There is a 50” wall mounted flat screen TV with Freesat channels and a DVD Player. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and a fridge freezer. The bathroom has a bath with a an overhead shower. The toilet is in a separate room. Bed linen and duvets are provided. Central heating throughout and free Wifi. On-site parking and secure bike storage is available. Cots and highchairs are available upon request. Please bring your own cot bedding. On-site there is a communal Function Hall with a Kitchen and games area. The games area includes a pool table and table tennis table. Subject to availability, the Function Hall can be booked for exclusive use for an additional fee. A laundry room is also available in an adjacent building. Subject to availability Guests can also borrow a stargazing pack comprising of: binoculars, red light torches, a flask and star gazing charts during their stay. Outside you’ll find wooden tables, a barbecue area and a tarmac area for children to ride their bikes. Behind the lodge is a games field where you can run around and play games. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome for a fee of £20 per stay. ** You will need to bring your own towels** - Towel packs can be hired at £4.00 per pack (1 x bath sheet and 1 x hand towel)
