Parsnip Cottage St Ives Bay

My home is short walk from the stunning St Ives Bay with 3 miles of beach for swimming, surfing, kayaking and kite surfing. There a variety of local restaurants and pubs nearby. The house is a semi detached cottage with a lounge and kitchen diner downstairs. Upstairs consists of two bedrooms, with double beds and bathroom. Central heating. Log burner. Maximum 2 dogs. No cats allowed. Good access to train and bus routes to St Ives, Penzance and Truro along with other lovely places to visit. The space The front of the house is over 200 hundred years old and was part of a miners cottage, the rear is a newer extension. It has been modernised and is very light and comfortable. The kitchen has a round oak table along with all the modern necessities. There are double doors with a step leading into the back garden. I rent the whole house out while I am away. I live here so the house is kept clean and tidy but it is a home to myself and my dog, not a permanent rental so please respect this. Please understand that despite vigorous cleaning before you arrive the occasional dog hair escapes me it’s one of the things about having a dog. No matter how often you clean, the hair still manages to pop up now and again. I provide bedding. I provide a few toilet rolls as a starter but please be aware that these may not last for the whole period of your stay. There are a couple of ordinance survey maps of the nearby areas if you enjoy walking. Please do not take the house towels to the beach. The Cornwall Council website has details of which beaches are dog friendly. Porth Kidney is a short drive away and dog friendly all year. Hayle beach has a large section which is dog friendly all year. Guest access The whole house except my storage room. Other things to note Please be advised dogs need to be house trained and if you have more than two please contact me before booking. Please clean up after your dogs. It’s not nice for the gardener to find poop and they do not clean it up. No parties allowed No groups
