Light and comfortable three-room apartment in monumental Stalin-era building, which refers to the Stalinist architecture (A.G. Mordvinov - architect), with two balconies and magnificent views of the historical building “House of Moscow Governors-General”, Tverskaya Square and Voznesensky Lane. The space Apartment If you are demanding of cleanliness and comfort, and want to feel the real incomparable atmosphere of Moscow, to touch its history and for a few days feel like a real native of Tverskaya Street, this is an option for you! Luxury apartment in a house built in 1940, designed by Arkady G. Mordvinov, famous architect and winner of the Stalin Prize. Currently the house is listed in the "Register of objects of cultural heritage" and protected by the state. This unique house is composed of two major parts, which are interconnected by a massive arch that is located above the road, leading to Leontief Lane. The house is decorated by elements, which have become the "face" of the style "Stalin's empire" that prevailed in Moscow at the time. Thus, the central part of the house over the arch is decorated with an arcade, in the side parts are used faceted towers, decorated with bottom pattern that simulates the fish scales. In this house lived many personalities, who have made a significant contribution to the history of Russia: Marshal Konstantin Rokossovsky, singer S.Y. Lemesheev, singer and People's Artist of the USSR, M.D. Mikhailov, as well as A.T. Twardowski and I.A. Likhachev. In the 1970s bookstore "Druzhba", which was selling the literature of the socialist countries, was located in this house (now in its place is the “Savings Bank of Russia”, or Sberbank of Russia). House was renovated in 2015, so it’s very clean and cozy. On your landing are only 2 apartments, so no one will disturb your rest. The apartment is located on the 5th floor, so there are excellent views from the balconies. The house is equipped with an elevator. Our neighbors do not smoke, so there are no unpleasant smells. The apartment is stylishly renovated. A living room has an outdoor balcony with views of the historic building "House of Moscow Governors-General” (under socialism was called "Palace of the Moscow City Council ", now in the building are located Moscow City Hall and the city head office), the Tverskaya square and Voznesensky Lane. In the description of the apartment I posted photos with this views (now and until 1921). Here, on the balcony, you can enjoy a glass of wine or a mug of coffee. The main bedroom has a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The height of ceilings in the apartment - 3 meters. Therefore, there is always fresh air, it’s very quiet, and you can royally relax at night after walking around Moscow. The inner courtyard of the house is closed from outsiders – it’s always quiet, clean and safe in here. The courtyard is additionally equipped with a modern playground. Guest access Available for guests The apartment has three rooms: 1st room: a living room with balcony and a comfortable sofa. There is also a large dining table with chairs.
