Honey coloured stone house with many period features, a pigeonnier tower, stone sink, exposed beams & hand carved staircases set in a peaceful pine forest with wonderful village views. Private garden with a terrace & shared, heated pool, also a play area .The house is set over 3 floors & offers 3 bedrooms, a sitting room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room & separate toilet. The house is for 6 people, children & babies included. Impressive , stone property, laid out over 3 floors with a kitchen, dining room, sitting room, shower room and separate toilet on the ground floor. Stairs lead up to a separate double bedroom on the left and a door leads through to the master bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and chandelier in the pigeonnaire tower. A hand carved staircase leads up to the third bedroom with 2 single beds also in the tower. The stairs into the third bedroom are steep and maybe difficult for the young or old. This house has wi fi. Outside is a private garden with a terrace offering wonderful village views. There is a heated pool which can be covered to allow swimming in all weathers and a play area with ping pong, boules, a swing etc. The pool and play area are shared between the 5 houses. The pool is open (weather dependant) from the beginning of April until the end of October. We have 5 properties in 5 acres of pine forest which can be rented singularly or together and can accommodate up to 25 people. The houses are perfect for a group as there are areas inside and outside to eat together but each house is private and independant. The houses are period properties and so will not suit those who have modern minimalist preferences. If you would like wood for the wood burner, it is not included in the price and please ask before arriving.I can lend you a travel cot, high chair and baby bath if you are travelling with a little one. We are just 4km from Montignac and the famous Lascaux caves and a 20 minute drive from Sarlat, Beynac etc. There are lots of wonderful Chateaux, gardens and caves to visit nearby as well as rivers to canoe on, horse riding and amazing food and wine to enjoy. Other things to note The house, terrace and garden are all private but the pool and play area are shared with the other guests.
