Just as far away on the other side is Diocletian's Palace, one of the most significant works of ancient architecture in Croatia and the Cathedral of St. Duje which is the oldest cathedral in the world. Twenty minutes walking from apartment will take you to Marjan, the hill that overlooks Split.Now forrest ,former vulcano, Marjan gives you best pesperctive of Split. It is rearly possible to experience such harmony of nature and urbanism; on the one hand a densely populated city, and on the other a peninsula of almost untouched nature. If you want to travel to a new destination, the main bus station and ferry port are only a fifteen minute walk from Apartments Tomislav. It is worth mentioning that near apartment there are many restaurants where the city of Split offers its guests the opportunity to taste many specialties characteristic for Dalmatia.
