The second floor rental has full kitchen and three bedrooms/two bathrooms, with private entrance. Grand living room/dining room with a separate den/office complete the space. Wonderful front porch overlooks the park across the street. First Bedroom: Thelma's room Decorated in original Karges antiques and Carolyn Karges original wallpapers and chandeliers. It has a large bathroom with tub. King sized bed. Second bedroom: Carolyn's Room This large bedroom faces the front of the house and features a king sized bed. It shares the bathroom with the Karges room. Third bedroom: Vittorio's Room This small bedroom off the kitchen was the original servant's bedroom, complete with a full ensuite bathroom. It has a large custom closet and a king sized bed. Very cozy. **The couch in the living room is a pull out with a queen sized foam mattress. Please let us know if you will need bedding for this. WE PROVIDE ONE BATH TOWEL AND ONE WASHCLOTH PER GUEST PER STAY. Guests have a separate front door to their unit. We enjoy meeting and interacting with new people. We are located adjacent to downtown Evansville and the Haynie's Corner Arts District. Walk to restaurants, bars, theater. Bike the greenway or jog along the river. Ten minutes from either the University of Evansville or University of Southern Indiana by private car. Taxis are available from the airport. We live on Evansville's downtown riverfront with easy access to walking/jogging/biking trails. Several excellent dining options and a fun bar/live music venue are in walking distance. Wonderful park directly across from house. Street parking is available. Guests can take a taxi from the airport. Your unit is the whole second floor of our house. We live full time on the first floor. The units are fully independent of each other, but it is an old home and some sound will carry, as you might expect. You have your own front door. You must be able to climb a flight of stairs to access your apartment. We have two dogs who live in the ground floor apartment below the unit we rent. Visiting dogs are permitted, but must be approved previous to reservation acceptance. We do have a fenced in backyard and a cat who lives in the garden.
