This is a large 5 bedroom 2 bathroom budget home set in a peaceful, blue-collar suburb. "an oasis of serenity amidst the bustling city" This inner city Northern suburb makes it a perfect spot to stay if you're going to Adelaide Oval / Zoo/CBD/ V8 race/ botanic Gardens or head in the other direction 35 min away to our premium wine district the iconic Barossa Valley. The veladrome 1km away. It's also close to some of our major shopping complex including TTP, Costco, home maker center. The space "ITS NOT A HOUSE . ITS A HOME" entirly yours to book for a fabulous price so close to the city. This Rustic Timber framed home ( similar to the house in the movie, "The Castle) has been recently upgraded and is a paradise for pets to run around. It has floor boards throughout and includes an upgraded kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, and a new ensuite running off the main bedroom. Unfortunately, there isn't a pool room or planes that fly over. Sorry to disappoint! It has recently been fitted with reverse cycle air conditioning one in the kitchen/loungeroom and in two of the 5 bedrooms. The other three bedrooms have evaporative cooling systems, adequate for the extrem Adelaide heat. This is a holiday home, I do not live here, so you will not find my personal belongings or rooms and cupboards locked while I vacate for your stay. Two bathrooms, one being a new ensuite with shower, the other has been fitted out with a new claw foot bath, perfect for the kids. The property has a separate toilet, convenient if members of your group are in the bathrooms. It's a gorgeous rustic, timbered, framed 1960s property with a great outdoor undercover area running off the main bedroom. The yard has a new BBQ and a fire pit, great for outdoor entertaining. It has a washing machine and a clothesline, there is no dryer. It's very close to the city. A straight run-in via Hamstead Rd, or if you decide to go down Main North Rd, you'll run past the Children's Hospital the Adelaide Cricket Oval and the Zoo. All venues are about 10 to 20 min away depending on the time of travel. 2 to 3 cars can be parked off the street and further cars on the street. The yard is surrounded by high fences so that your pets (or the kids) can not escape. Wi-Fi unlimited internet is provided along with a camera at the front of the property. Public transport accessed on Grand Junction Rd. Busses run every 10 min in and out. Bedroom 1 - queen bed with ensuite Bedroom 2- queen bed (single bed can be added) Bedroom 3- double bunk with a single bed over it and a single bed. Bedroom 4- double bunk with a single bed over it and a single bed. Bedroom 5- double bunk with a single bed over it and a single bed. The lounge room has a couch that can be made up into a double bed for those who don't want to share a bed. Pet friendy Also, remember this is "not a house it’s a home, a man’s home is his castle"! Guest access I will provide key details once the booking is made. It's all very basic!! I can provide further bedding for children or babies on request, and if you have someone who wants to join your group last minute, please let me know so appropriate linen can be provided and beds made up. Other things to note All linen is supplied, so please let me know the beds you will require for your group so appropriate linen can be organized. A pet fee applies, yes pets are permitted inside just not on furniture or in the bedrooms unless they have their own doggy bed.
