The Hayloft, Pillar Box Farm Cottages

With a superking bed, slipper bath and hottub, this luxurious cottage is a peaceful retreat at any time of the year. Located in the Shropshire Hills AONB we enjoy spectacular views, are dog, bike and walking boot friendly. If you can tear yourself away, we are just 10 minutes from the medieval market town of Ludlow with it's fabulous restaurants and pubs. The space The bedroom, with impressive super king bed, is on the ground floor. There is a luxurious slipper bath in the bedroom with an optional modesty screen. The separate toilet and sink are ensuite. Just bring sliders or equivalent to get to & from the hottub. Upstairs is the stunning open plan kitchen and living space under gorgeous exposed beams. The well equipped kitchen has complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, olive oil, salt and pepper. There is a dining table and chairs along with a comfortable sofa and freesat tv. A door from the ground floor leads to the rear patio area with dining area, deck chairs & swinging seat for your exclusive use. There is a coal barbecue and all fuel is provided. The Hayloft has its own hot tub which is available to use all year round. At the end of the barn is a secure room with bike stands for the safe storage of bikes and walking equipment. Guest access Pillar Box Farm Cottages have their own entrance and parking area. You will also have access to the delightful orchard and pond behind the cottage. In addition, if you fancy enjoying an early evening tipple with one of the best views in Shropshire, the fire pit awaits. Follow the path through the orchard & wood to Simon’s shed. There you will find camping chairs, blankets & logs. Just bring a bottle and savor the peace and the view! Perfect to watch a stunning Shropshire sunset. Other things to note There is a small pond in the orchard so parents with children are advised to only let them play in the orchard under supervision. I have numerous animals at Pillar Box Farm, all are friendly and you are welcome to meet them. Do ask if you would like to be introduced, please do not feed the animals and I respectfully ask that you leave gates as you find them.
