Chez Lafayette Guest Cottage in Historic District

Welcome to Chez Lafayette Guest Cottage located in the beautiful historic district of Jefferson, TX! We are just a few minutes stroll to all of the quaint shops and restaurants in downtown Jefferson. If you prefer, you can keep your car parked and walk anywhere in the historic district! You will have the entire cottage to yourself with a queen sized bed, private bath, stocked coffee bar with Keurig coffee pot, small table for two, and a cozy sitting area with two oversized chairs and ottoman. The space Cozy stand alone guest cottage behind the main house (circa 1935) with private bath, queen sized bed, coffee bar, mini fridge, microwave, sitting area and television with ROKU and local channels. We are located right next door to the historic Carnegie Library. Sterne Memorial Fountain is just around the corner from the cottage as well. The Cottage at Chez Lafayette is a wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy the historic town of Jefferson, TX. Some of our guests have used adjectives like : cozy, quaint, peaceful, quiet, whimsical and perfect to describe the cottage. However you describe it, we think you will enjoy it, so come be our guest! Guest access Guest have access to the guest cottage behind the main house and to our beautiful side courtyard where they can enjoy a drink or cup of coffee at our bistro table located in the courtyard. We also have a seating area outside in front of the cottage for guests use as well. Other things to note Easy accessibility to the cottage. There are no stairs to climb. The cottage sits behind the main house and has a coffee bar, mini fridge and small microwave, no kitchen. With a standard queen size bed, sitting area with two oversized arm chairs with shared ottoman, and a small drop leaf table with two chairs, this cozy cottage is the perfect place to recharge and unwind. Bathroom with tub/ shower combo. It is a stand alone, one room cottage with an attached bathroom, just the right size to spend a cozy weekend inside or exploring the beautiful historic town of Jefferson . The television is a ROKU television where you will need to sign into your personal accounts, ie; Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. There are also local channels provided that you can access through the ROKU if you do not have personal accounts or prefer to watch local networks.
