An entire, charming, turn-of-the-century Victorian in the heart of downtown Middlebury, Vermont all to yourself! A short distance from Main Street, you are within walking distance to downtown boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, and Middlebury college. A fully outfitted, newly remodeled kitchen gives you the freedom to prepare your own meals. Two king size beds and all the beds are new, ensuring a comfortable sleep! There are four second-floor bedrooms, two have king size beds, one has a queen bed, and the fourth has a double. There is also a double futon on the first floor. The house is comfortably furnished. Cell phone service is excellent (which isn't true throughout most of Vermont). We have high speed internet and streaming TV with Roku access to Netfilx, Hulu and PBS. The wifi is strong enough to stream multiple devices at one time. The kitchen is fully outfitted and there is an additional beverage fridge in the dining room. The backyard has a lovely stone patio and shade canopy, creating a delightful space to relax or dine outdoors. Indoor dining easily seats 6 people. Guests will have access to the entire house, including a full kitchen and the back patio and yard. I look forward to meeting our guests upon arrival. Downtown Middlebury is a vibrant community with multiple restaurants, grocery stores, art galleries, and many other retail shops, all within walking distance of our house. We are just steps from the 18 mile long Trail Around Middlebury and one mile from the college. Between the movie theater, the Town Hall Theater and events at Middlebury college, there are cultural opportunities almost every evening. Driving times to nearby areas are: 20 minutes to the Breadloaf campus and the Middlebury Snowbowl, 45 minutes to Rutland and Killington, and an hour each to Burlington, Sugarbush and Waitsfield. The house is an easy walk to downtown shops, the food co-op, and Middlebury College. There is parking for three cars at the house. Please do not park on the lawn. The house will be stocked with coffee and assorted teas, sugar, salt, pepper and oils. At your request, I can make sure you have the coffee whitener of your choice available too. If you would like the refrigerated stocked with assorted goods upon you arrival, I am happy to shop for you at the cost of the goods. Please discuss this will me a week prior to your arrival.
