Carpenter's Cottage, Bossiney

Carpenters Cottage is a peaceful, and comfortable hideaway between Tintagel and Boscastle. The cottage is fully equipped for self catering and is perfect for anyone who loves to be near the sea and is particularly good for walkers. There is off road parking for one car and lovely walks straight from the cottage to the South West Coast Path, Bossiney Cove, St Nectans Glen, Rocky Valley, Trebarwith Strand, Tintagel and Boscastle. There are plenty of places to eat out in the centre of Tintagel. The space Carpenters cottage was originally a carpenters workshop which has been tastefully renovated and refurbished whilst retaining it's character. It is now a comfortable single storey cottage , equipped with all you need for a relaxing holiday - whether you want to fully self-cater or take advantage of the many local restaurants, cafes and pubs. The small outside patio area provides a place to sit and relax in the sun and the comfortable living/dining space is the perfect for relaxing indoors if outside is too wet or chilly! There is a well equipped kitchen with a washer/dryer plus a newly updated shower room and toilet. There are 2 bedrooms - one with a king sized bed and a smaller room with comfortable, full size bunk beds. We also provide a small selection of books, DVDs and games for both adults and children and some local guide books and maps for you to use and we can also lend you picnic equipment ( rug, flask, tupperware boxes) during your stay. Guest access The cottage has a private entrance and small outside patio. There is off-road parking for one car only. Please contact us if you really need to bring more than one vehicle. Please note we live on a narrow country lane and there is no space to park on the road. Other things to note There is open access to the lane, which while not a busy road, might be a concern for families with young children.
