Lake Winnie Cozy Cottage Getaway

Welcome to Lake a Dream… your spot for a fun filled family vaca on Lake Winnie in the summer or a cozy couples getaway in the winter! With just a quick 3 minute walk from the property you can enjoy some sunshine & sand on the beach! Or a 5 minute drive into downtown Wolfeboro to experience it’s charm; waterfront dining, ice cream, shops, cafés & more! For winter stays, cozy up by the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa & some fun family games! The cottage is not far from Gunstock & Kingpine! The space This home has been recently updated to provide a modern, clean & true northern, lakeside New England feel. The space is perfect for a family & friends getaway. As you walk into our unique space, you will see there are two bedrooms and 1 full bath on the first floor. Enjoy the open concept feel of the updated kitchen, dining & living room area. As you walk up the stairs, you will find the master bedroom with an ensuite. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the small attached balcony & listen to the birds. The second room upstairs is what we like to call the "fort room". This room includes 4 twin size beds & a large area to play; ideal for the kids! Guest access As part of your stay, you will have access to the beach just down the street! With a quick 3 minutes walk - dip your toes in the water & enjoy the sunshine on the beach! Note: while it is a short walk, the beach is nestled at the bottom of a steep hill. There are stairs to walk down if needed. It may be helpful to drive a vehicle down to unpack beach gear & belongings but you are not allowed to park & stay. The vehicle would have to be brought back up to the house. Please be respectful of residents who will also be sharing the space with you. There is also a grass area & picnic table area which you may also enjoy! The cottage has a large driveway ample enough for multiple vehicles at once and/or even lake boat boat trailer. Quiet hours at the beach and property at 10 pm. Other things to note Keurig available with coffee & hot coco pods as well as tea. Important note. There are no trash/waste bins at beach. You MUST take back what you bring down with you. We do provide trash/recycling pick up. We just ask that you dispose of the trash and recycling in the designated, labeled bins outside in the shed. The walk to the beach is downhill and 1/5 mile or approx 5 minutes.
