The space This contemporary and fully equipped A-frame style home sits on the picturesque west shoreline of Connecticut’s Bantam Lake. Enjoy easy first-floor living with a master bedroom,(King bed) walk-in closet and en-suite master bathroom that includes a giant walk-in shower and an oversize soak tub. Also, on the first floor is a half bathroom, kitchen and large laundry room (handicap size doorways). The downstairs living room sofa pulls out into a queen sleeper. The second floor has 2 additional bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and one with 3 twin beds plus a trundle. There is another full bathroom, plus a cozy loft space that can be used as a kids’ room, den or an additional sleeping area (with a queen size futon). The views of Bantam Lake are panoramic, and the sunrise is always magnificent. Any airy deck right off the living room offers additional al fresco dining and is a great place to relax and listen to the water lap the sandy beach just below. Guest access All amenities included. Kitchen is completely stocked with all cooking utensils, bakeware, food processor, blender, paper goods etc. For outdoor activities, a fire pit, hammock, beach chairs and fishing rods are all available. Kayaks and paddle boards are available to rent from the owner. Please note there is NO dock associated with the property. We do allow the use of a strong mooring or the beach for small boats with owner concurrence. Other things to note Great fishing, swimming and sun bathing from private beach. The deck is very relaxing and overlooks the beach. Please note there is no dock associated with this property. My neighbor next door has one but my guests would NOT be able to access this.
