Wild Goose Chase - A Peaceful Wooded Beach Retreat

A 7 minute walk to the beach, the guest house at the Wild Goose Chase is a peaceful retreat, located on a quiet residential cul-de-sac, nestled in the live oaks and pines of maritime forest and surrounded with birds and native wildlife. Stroll through nature trails throughout the neighborhood, walk to the beach or canals with put-ins for kayaks, tennis courts, and a playground. A short drive or bike ride to the towns of Duck or Kitty Hawk for food and fun! The space The newly renovated Wild Goose Chase guest house is attached to our home and includes a private, separate off-road parking area for two cars, and a private exterior entrance with a key code. The front porch includes a covered table with seating for 4. The cozy yet spacious living area is spread over three levels - with two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with twin bunk beds) and a full bath on the first floor. The second floor includes a kitchenette (microwave, toaster oven, full-sized refrigerator, coffee makers, dishes and glassware) with both counter and table seating, as well as a private screened-in porch, and a cozy nook for reading or watching television. The third level is comprised of a large master bedroom with a full bath and seating areas - windows surrounding the entire room look out into the surrounding treetops creating a bright & airy, yet peaceful, treehouse vibe.
