See other listing for Brookside Cabin The space Trickle Brook Cabin is in a quiet and tranquil setting however this is the countryside so there may be the noise of the cows or the sheep and on the odd occasion the farmers may muck spread the fields giving a pungent smell in the fresh country air, the church bells may occasionally chime and during term time the children are dropped at school and collected in the afternoon and you may hear in the distance the children playing during break times making the area a buzz of activity and a break from the usual peace and tranquillity. The stream makes a continual noise from babbling brook to rushing water depending on the weather either way the sound of the stream as it twists and turns and flows on down towards the river Dane is a constant reminder of nature’s presence. Wincle village was once described in the Times as achingly pretty which it truly is. (Also see my other listing Brookside Cabin). Guest access You will have the whole space to yourselves with a shared drive providing plenty of off road parking. The hot tub is for private use, although every effort is made for the hot tub to be ready for you on your arrival it is not always possible to have it cleaned, warmed and ready by 4pm check in, guests may need to wait until early evening for it to reach the required temperature. The kitchen facilities are mini fridge, microwave, and a 2 ring plug in electric hob, a couple of chairs and a bench, the outside is a small south westerly aspect so whilst it’s hot in the summer there are also plenty of shaded areas. Other things to note The property is in a small picturesque village called Wincle once described in the Times as achingly pretty. Two small bath towels and two hand towels are provided but they are thin on purpose due to the larger softer towels being difficult to dry for a quick turnaround, the accommodation is not designed to be 5 star or comparable to a hotel or bed and breakfast, it is a unique experience in a garden shed that will not suit everyone. Kelvins big farming adventure is filmed in and around Wincle so you may see the camera crew out and about during your visit.
