ROMANTICA is located inside a park, in the middle of nature, in the Monteleòn area. It has large ornamental and fruit trees, an orchard of organically grown vegetables depending on the season, which guests, if they wish, can pick and consume at will. A small fish pond and the melody of the water from the fountains create several areas of calm and peace. Ocean views on one side (Maspalomas dunes) and mountain views (Roque Nublo) on the other. The space ROMANTICA is very exclusive and fascinating since, in a park of 3,500 m2, there are only two cottages built on the ruins of those that existed in antiquity, respecting the dimensions and basic layout. Originally they were made of straw, goat hair (which is also highly appreciated today by the inhabitants of the entire archipelago), dung and damp mud on a sedimentary lava stone structure. One of the cottages is located at one end of the property and the second on the exact opposite side so that absolute privacy is maintained undisturbed. It is lovely at night to see the stars from their terraces knowing that the ancient inhabitants were doing the same for hundreds of years in the night of time...! Each cottage has everything you need for living and cooking. ROMANTICA is also highly sustainable. 90% of the materials used to make the cottages and the park have been recycled. Old sticks from the phone company were used; the stones used to make the walls have been collected and stacked in the same place; most of the beautiful plants come from council waste that pulled them out of the ground in buildable areas and saved from certain death; The water used daily to irrigate them is 85% recycled by filtering it through reverse osmosis. 100% of the electricity is produced through photovoltaic equipment. In the table area, with a supplement of € 20 per person a comforting breakfast is served from 8,30 to 9:30 am.
