Cozy cottage on the York River located 10 minutes outside of Bancroft. A perfect retreat for the avid ATV rider, snowmobiler, cyclist, hiker and fisherman. Minutes from Hastings Heritage trail system and several lakes. 45 minute drive to Algonquin park. Hike Eagles nest for a breathtaking view. Our one level home features a wood stove. Firewood provided by hosts. The space Grocery stores, LCBO, Tims/Foodland open until midnight and Shoppers Drug mart 10 min drive into town, 2 golf courses, antique Stairway entrance to house- 4 steps to one level home Clothes line available and cloth pins Fire pit Outdoor chairs Lifejackets x6 (adult life jackets) Woodstove - firewood included- use of wood heat inside encouraged/ we have electric baseboard heaters as well Three season sunroom One canoe, 2 adult kayaks and one youth kayak- one paddle board,available only until after thanksgiving weekend. May until early October. Boats removed then in preparation for winter weather. Guest access Whole home excluding one large outdoor shed and pump room off of the sun porch. Other things to note Parking for up to 2 vehicles in private drive. Please do not pull up to close to the front porch due to water line in that area.
