Our house has easy access to public transportation. 60 Minutes to Midtown Manhattan with a free ferry ride to Manhattan 15 minutes away. Queen bed, with recently renovated full kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, teapot, coffee maker and basic kitchen essentials. In historic neighborhood that has great restaurants and cafes all within walking distance of our home. Great location to explore NYC and experience local culture. The Queen size bed is super comfortable with a lot of extra pillows. The attached private bath is newly upgraded with a full walk in shower. Guest will have also access to the backyard patio. We respect any guests privacy, however any guests who want to talk and learn more about local culture we are happy to share. The beautiful historic homes are by far the best feature of our neighborhood. The local restaurants and cafes are amazing as well. There is plenty of free street parking available. Bus line (S78) stops right in front of the house. Staten Island Ferry is 20 minute walk or short bus ride away. We are close to two Staten Island hospitals, and Wagner College. Great location for professors, medical Students on rotation, or college students needing short term rentals. We are open to longer stays, just submit your request and we will see if we can accommodate. The rooms are below the below the main dining room of the house so during the day in the summer when people are awake and moving about , you might hear footsteps and the occasional movement of chairs. We go to bed early though, and typically we are gone most of the day as well. So the noise should be minimal.
