This charming apartment is nestled West Houston in a bird sanctuary and backyard habitat certified by the National Wildlife Federation. Once you’re inside the Garden gate, it feels like you’re miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The 3/4 acre garden has a 12,000 gallon koi pond and waterfalls as well as many other water features, flowers and wildlife, a very peaceful place. Once you walk through the garden gate, it feels like you’re miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The 3/4 acre garden has a 12,000 gallon koi pond and waterfalls as well as many other water features, flowers and wildlife, a very peaceful place. The garden is the home of rabbits, fish, turtles, ducks, a goose, doves, finch, quail and protected wild birds. It is for this reason that the property is not suitable for dogs or cats. My birds are like family to me, and my commitment to the National Wildlife Federation is to provide a sanctuary for the animals in my care. Since the garden is a shared area for my pets and wildlife, other animals cannot be allowed on the property in order avoid any distressing situations for the creatures. Additionally, the reason for the very strict no animals rule inside the apartments is because I often rent to cancer patients (I am an accommodations host on a cancer clinic website). Cancer patients often require accommodations where there has never been any animals, because they are immune compromised and have allergies to animal dander. That being said, if you travel with a pet or service animal, this space would not be appropriate for your needs. The private apartment includes a queen bed, and a twin bed, TV/DVD, a desk, wireless fiber optics Internet, private off street parking. Washer/dryer - fully furnished and equipped kitchen, juicer, blender, linens, towels, toiletries and a full bath. Common areas on the property include: All GARDEN areas on the entire 3/4 of an acre. RESOURCE ROOM with copier, air printer, scanner, books, DVDs, games, maps, menus, points of interest. GIFT SHOP, self serve with handmade items and fresh local honey from my beehives. RELAXATION ROOM with massage chair, TV, chi machine, far infrared heat mat. INFRARED SAUNA room by appointment for an additional fee. THERAPY ROOM with a list of licensed practitioners who are available by appointment for an additional fee. The property is one mile from Memorial City mall and just steps away from the bus line.
