Nestled on an escarpment at the top of Macquarie Pass, with views reaching over the Great Dividing Range and spanning across to the coast, 'The Escarpment - Above & Beyond' is a deluxe two-bedroom residence and is an ideal escape for couples and families. Set on 14 acres of lush countryside, you will feel the cares of the world fade away. The location is the best of two worlds; country living with close proximity to the most beautiful beaches within a 30-40 minutes drive. The space 'The Escarpment - Above & Beyond' is presented as a fully self-contained residence for adults, that is situated in the front half of a house, completely private and showcasing the most breathtaking panoramic views. The living area is beautifully open plan, with dedicated lounge, dining and tv zones, and also incorporating a striking contemporary kitchen. You'll have a gas cooktop, oven and microwave at your disposal and of course, a coffee machine, so you can enjoy a delicious coffee each morning while sitting out in the sunroom and soaking in the view and the serenity - the perfect way to start the day. A slow combustion stove provides incredible warmth and character to the living area and particularly in the cooler months, you will love spending time relaxing and recharging here. A wraparound enclosed sunroom extends the living space and just brings you one step closer to those spectacular views. A BBQ deck is the perfect place to watch the sun go down with an afternoon drink in hand and a cheese platter from the Robertson Cheese Factory. Two bedrooms both have queen sized beds and wardrobes, with the master bedroom also having access to the balcony. Why not have a lie in and gaze out to the horizon? You're on holiday, there's absolutely no need to rush! The bathroom is luxuriously appointed and if needed, you can use a shared laundry for any washing. We are providing a basket full of firewood and kindlings complimentary. Any additional fire wood required, will need to be purchased at the super market or petrol station. Guest access You'll be able to stroll around the majority of the property's 14-acres, patting the goats and sheep or saying hello to Shirley the pig. Other things to note We are set on 14 acres which we share with 12 sheep, 12 goats, 4 dogs, 4 cats and 1 pig. Our dogs are Maremmas (Italian sheep dogs) and are extremely friendly! Your pets are also welcome. You may encounter some native wildlife but we ask that you watch them from a distance and be respectful of their environment. We are self sufficient in our water supply (rainwater + crystal clear, sweet drinking bore water), waste water management and through solar power we generate more electricity than we use. Our firewood is sourced from a renewable native forest supply. We are providing a basket full of firewood and kindlings. Any additional supply will need to be purchased from the super market or petrol station. The proceeds from your stay with us will go towards the ongoing operation and maintenance of our animal rescue care centre.
