There's a metro station nearby (5 min by foot) with direct connection to the airport Sá Carneiro, from where Ryanair and many other companies flight to many European cities. All the 5 metro lines pass here so it's quite easy to move inside the city. There´s no need to use the car on a daily basis. The main railway station, that connects the city of Porto to the rest of the country, is located at 1,2 km (14 min. by foot). There's a metro - train interface there. It's possible to visit the nearby cities using the suburban trains (Aveiro, Guimarães, Braga, Espinho). For longer distances (Coimbra, Lisbon,...), there's the choice of using the Alfa Pendular. The Bus runs all day long, and there's a bus stop located at 50 meters. In addition to all the facilities with public transports, this house is situated in one of the unique areas of Porto, where parking is still free. All places of tourist interest, are in this surrounding area, and can be visited by foot. For shopping it's also quite easy. You will find many groceries, supermarkets, cafés, bakeries, restaurants, etc in the surrounding area. We have all this information available for you. At your arrival, we will provide you with more detailed information concerning public transports, if you need. The beautiful Port wine cellars, one of the ex-libris of the city, are just 20 minutes away by foot. The beautiful beaches are just a few kilometers, and there`s bus connections all day. The beatifull beach of Espinho can easily be reached by train. Portugal has a good transport network so you can use Porto as the starting point to discover the entire north of Portugal.
