L'Endormi 3 - city center - air-conditioned

Located on the second floor of an authentic Auvergne habitat, built of lava stone and Volvic stone, this very pretty F1 has been completely renovated with care. It is located in the city center of Clermont-Ferrand, 450 m from Place de Jaude. This place is fully equipped (air conditioning, wifi, queen size bed 160cm, sofa bed, Netflix, bed sheets, duvets, towels, dishes, SENSEO pod coffee maker, USB sockets, shower gel). It can fit 4 people (by unfolding the sofa bed). The space About 30 m2 (the mezzanine room is an attic). Access via a traditional spiral staircase (19th Century), typical of the region, made of Volvic stone. The apartment is ideally intended for 2 people but it is possible to accommodate one to two additional people in the sofa bed (linens and dishes provided) separate from the room. We'll be waiting for you at a time that works for you between 4pm and 9pm. We are often on site and love to host: if our respective schedules allow, we will take great pleasure in getting to know each other and discuss with you the many things to do and see in the area. The accommodation is conveniently located in the city center of Clermont-Ferrand, offering you easy access to all shops, restaurants, sights and public transport. Like any living city center, this location can be accompanied by some ambient noise, especially on summer evenings or extended weekends. It will depend on your sensitivity to noise: guests accustomed to the urban vibe will feel quite comfortable. For added comfort, the apartment is equipped with double glazing to limit noise. During the summer, you can enjoy the air conditioning. The whole building is under video surveillance. Guest access The apartment does not have a parking space, but parking is free from Rue Paul Diomède and Rue des Portes d'Argent (and the streets that follow), about 400 m away. There is also the Fontgiève parking lot in front of the football field 350 m from the apartment (5-minute walk) for €1.40 per day (10 hours, rechargeable by app). Parking is also free on Rue Fontgiève (in front of the apartment) from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m., Sundays and public holidays. It's cheaper in the streets around the Edgard Quinet school next door. Saint-Pierre underground parking is close on foot, but a little more expensive. The Gaillard tram station is a 3-minute walk from the apartment. Other things to note The Fontgiève neighborhood is located on the immediate outskirts of the historic center, which makes it an asset due to its proximity (Clermont City Hall is 500 m from the apartment). Built since Roman times, its name "Font Jievà" means "Jewish source/fountain", a fountain that is still located a stone's throw from the building. The district extends to Montjuzet where the inhabitants cultivated vines until the 1960s and which is today the largest landscaped park in Clermont-Ferrand. You can picnic there with great views of the city. There are shortcuts to get there which are explained in the welcome booklet. The neighborhood is lively and it's a good place to stay. Everything is available on site. Not far away is the old center of Saint Alyre where you will find a village atmosphere with its alleys and petrifying fountains (exploited until not so long ago). Due to the configuration of the building and apartment, you won't have the option to store bicycles. The entire building is under video surveillance.
