2 rooms plus a bathroom, with a shady front porch and a small private back deck. Front room is a living room/kitchen with a trundle day bed (can be 2 twins or combined as a king size bed), fridge, stove, oven, toaster, coffeemaker, kettle, sink, and dishware. NOTE: Back bedroom has a DOUBLE/FULL size bed (some couples have noted that they find this small for 2 people - it's a standard size FULL bed), closet, luggage holder, and small shelf and drawer space. Our beds are real, comfy mattresses! Light, bright, fresh... this is the look/feel we want to convey in the space and decorating. There's a cozy, homey feeling to it. The whole place is yours! The house next door is a long-term rental, also owned by us. We're Jessa and Josh, your Stone Casita hosts! We'll happily connect with you and give you recommendations for our area if you like, and are also glad to give you privacy if you prefer that. FEEL FREE to message/text about anything you need or anything bothering you - we will do our best to troubleshoot. The Stone Casita is less than a mile from downtown Silver City. It's a downhill walk getting to downtown, and an uphill walk back to the Stone Casita. The Casita is fairly close to the street, so sometimes there's some noise from vehicles or people walking by, but usually it's pretty quiet. It's useful to have a car in our rural town, and necessary for getting out to the Gila Forest and Gila Wilderness. We are close enough to downtown Silver City that you can walk or bike if you just want to stay in town. Trash day is Thursday morning by 9am. Please use the big green bin that says recycling - the Town of Silver City no longer provides curbside recycling. Our space has no TV. We don’t list this amenity, but several guests have been disappointed so we want to make sure you know that! If you bring a computer, our Wi-Fi is sufficient for streaming on your device. Also, there is no washer/dryer though there are several nearby laundromats, within a mile. Finally, please be aware that the Casita’s plumbing is old and, due to space constraints, the water heater can give guests a good hot shower but not a very long one, and not a bath.
