The space Hello, I am renting a furnished master(w/o BR attached) bedroom in a beautiful 2 story 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, Castro Valley home. The neighborhood is safe, family-oriented, and a 10 minute walk (5 minute drive) from the Castro Valley Bart station (Transit). There are nearby coffee shops, grocery stores, retail stores, and restaurants less than 10 minutes away. There is plenty of street parking in front of the property. The bedroom is located on the second floor, has an antique decor, and is perfect for people who want their home to be a relaxing escape. The room has a brand new queen sized bed, nightstand, ceiling fan, lamps, comfortable chairs, dresser, cabinets, shelves, work desk, windows, a stained glass window, large mirror and a walk-in closet with an extra storage compartment. The house has laid back vibes.l and is extremely comfortable. The room is also equipped with a 42" flat screen tv with DirectTV access (complimentary - provided by the homeowner). In the house, you have access to the laundry and dryer, kitchen, living room, wood stove, 2 bathrooms, backyard/patio, hot tub, greenhouse, fruits, and vegetables are grown on-site (oranges, avocados, tomatoes, and etc.). Extra info: This room and home has been renovated and has a Art Deco look with all the antique furniture dating back to the 18-1900s. Privacy is key and we like to keep all tenants happy in the fact that they will have their own space to call home. SF is 30 minutes and Silicon Valley is about 50 minutes away. Guest access Guests can access all the facilities except my fathers room. During your stay My father is a very kind man who is retired and tend s to his garden and like to build things. He is a talker and loves to tell his life stories which are fascinating. Every one of my friends growing up have befriended my father and even taken him to sports games because he is just that relatable with anyone. My step mom is kind and very hard working. She is retired an looking for a part time job to keep her busy. She helps my dad with his various projects. They are really sweet people and treat everyone like family. Other things to note There is so much fruit and veggies especially during the summer months. My dad has a green thumb and shares it with the neighbors including any tenants.
