Greengate Cottages are a local family-owned business and we welcome you to our homestyle, low-fuss Strahan accommodation. Greengate Cottages- Sarah Cottage is a 2-bedroom house is on a block of land so you have room to move, no need to be cooped up in a single room. Plenty of room outside as well for the kids to run around or even park the boat! The space You’ll love the spaces we provide and how relaxed it is. Our Strahan self-catering accommodation is perfect for couples, families (with kids), groups and workers in the area. Inside you'll find plunger and instant coffee, teabags and tea leaves with a teapot, toiletries, all linen, air conditioning/heating. A washing machine, washing powder, pegs and an outside line is also available in your cottage. Our self-contained Strahan accommodation cottages are accessed via 4 steps at the back door. The entire house is yours for your stay on the West Coast of Tasmania and everything you need to get you started is inside our relaxed accommodation in Strahan. The local IGA supermarket is well stocked and have a fabulous selection of local produce and ready-made meals as well a a large selection of fresh produce, meats, deli and pre-packaged goods ready for you to self-cater during your stay in Strahan. You'll find plenty of space outside each cottage for parking. Bring the boat, we have room! Other things to note Telstra and Optus have good coverage in Strahan. Any other carrier and you will not have any service. We do offer free wi-fi. Please note there are unfenced areas between cottages and out the front and children will need to be supervised while using outside spaces. Meredith St is a low traffic area most of the time, however increased local traffic to and from the golf club does happen from time to time. A portacot or fold out single bed can be arranged subject to availability, please contact us for this option. Cancellations due to Covid border closures will be done without penalty via guest requests and we hope you can rebook to visit us at another time in the near future. Stay safe and remember to follow the covid rules while visiting Strahan, use sanitiser provided, maintain adequate distance from people outside your immediate group, Please stay home if unwell and get tested. Garbage days are Tuesday mornings after 8am. We do not have access to recycling at present.
