Enjoy full access to 1,250 sf of private living space on a beautiful lake front bluff. Wake to sunrise views of the marsh, breakfast on the expansive deck as you hone your bird watching skills. The interior of the house is fully wheelchair accessible, complete with roll-in shower. I also have a set of wheelchair ramps, if needed, to get into the house. The full kitchen is equipped with all utensils, cookware and anything you need for dining in. Kitchen also comes with a Keurig and a drip coffee maker, blender, mixer and toaster. A gas grill is available for your use. As the the concern for Coronavirus continues, we recognize traveling can be a worry. Know that I am not allowing bookings back to back during this time to ensure adequate time for cleaning. All hard surfaces, in my home, are cleaned with a bleach or antibacterial disinfectant according to package directions. I will also leave wipes for you and your guests to be able to wipe down surfaces, as you come and go. I provide an abundance of soap for hand washing and laundry soap, if you desire to wash clothes during your stay. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask, as I want you to be able to enjoy every bit of your stay! Guest access Guests have private use of all living spaces and porches. You have the entire house for use, for you and your guests. I live on property in a separate house that is attached only at the second floor. My house does not share any walls with the house you are staying in. You are welcome to share our pool deck and pool, unless otherwise agreed upon. No dogs allowed in the pool, please. It is too hard on our filtration system. The hot tub is pictured because it is built into the pool, but we reserve it for personal (our) use ONLY. You may play in it, but it will not be heated. Other things to note As this is an area I use for family and friends to enjoy, probably every home convenience is supplied for your stay. I have personal items in the home, but there is plenty of closet and drawer space for your use. The space is NOT completely child-proof, parents are urged to take precautions. I do have a fence that will be put around the pool, if young children are staying. Please advise, in advance. Also, our pool cleaning service comes only once a week. There is a net available for your use, if needed. PLEASE DO NOT take any glass to the pool area. Do not walk or stand on the wall that separates the large pool and the small pool. Thank you! We do not allow parties or events in our home. On occasion, an exception may be made, depending on the particular circumstances. We reserve the right to determine what is acceptable and allowable in our home, and request an additional fee, if needed. We do not have pets but don’t mind if you bring your smaller doggies to visit. We have wood floors and larger, active dogs tend to scratch them the floors. (We do not allow cats due to allergies.) Please let us know what kind/how many in advance. A non refundable pet fee will be assessed for each pet. This is due to extra cleaning required. Airbnb only assesses for one pet. If you have more than one pet, you can make payment directly to me prior to, or upon, arrival. The house is sprayed regularly, though it is in a wooded setting, you may encounter palmetto bugs or spiders. It is not common, but outside you may also see opossum, snakes, raccoons or an occasional red fox. NOTE: Our calendar is only open a few months in advance. To inquire about advance dates, please select any available date on the calendar. This will allow you to send a message through Airbnb with the correct dates you are inquiring about. I will be happy to see what I can do to accommodate you and when approved, will make the dates open on the calendar for you to complete your booking. Please no third-party booking, unless we are advised in advance. ADDITIONAL NOTE: because of the size of the house and property we are always in a state of clean up, repair and remodeling. We do our best to work scheduled things around your stays, but occasionally they may coincide. IF this happens, you will be notified as soon as possible, and what you can expect.
