Architect designed, The Woodhouse is a one bedroom luxury retreat with a bespoke Scandinavian fresh water spa hot tub set in the private grounds of the owner's house and next to the village 14th century church in Chardstock, a beautiful East Devon village only nine miles from the stunning World Heritage Site Jurassic Coast. The space The Property: The Woodhouse has been designed as a luxurious romantic escape for two. The layout comprises a sitting room with gas 'wood burner' and a fully fitted kitchen all under a vaulted ceiling. The bedroom has a sumptuous antique French kingsize bed dressed with Belgian linen and a goose down duvet. There is an ensuite wetroom with railhead shower. The outside private decked area with a wooden fresh water hydro spa hot tub is for the sole use of the guests of The Wood House. The terrace has stunning views of St. Andrews Church which dates from the 14th century. Facing south-west, it is sunny in the day, with sunsets to watch as you sip your drinks in the evening. Guests have their own parking space in front of The Woodhouse. There is WIFI and a Smart TV. Other things to note Further Info: The Wood House is unsuitable for pets and children. Smoking is not permitted inside The Wood House. Only private cars allowed - no camper vans. Guests can let themselves in, but help is at hand if required. A welcome pack will provide guests with suggestions of local places to visit, fun things to do and most importantly, where to eat. All personally tried and tested! Given enough notice, home cooked meals can be arranged for you. We are only four miles from Axminster Rail Station, two and a half hours from London Waterloo. Taxis are available from the station. Our Scandinavian wooden hydro spa hot tub has been made bespoke for us and shipped from Europe. Unlike all other spa hot tubs it is completely free from chemicals and is filled with fresh water which can stay in for three days. The massage jets can be regulated to your desired strength. IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE THAT IS IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE TUB IS FILLED WITH WATER BEFORE THE HEATER BUTTON IS PRESSED. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL DESTROY THE MOTORS.
