Maison Bernadou a unique setting facing Puy Mary

in the heart of the Cantal mountains, for a maximum disconnection from urban centers and for a regenerating reconnection to the surrounding nature: wild, preserved, mountainous. la maison bernadou is a traditional accommodation of about 100 m2, organized around a magnificent Cantou (large fireplace of Cantal), 2 independent bedrooms and a sleeping area in the living room, a kitchen and bathroom with shower and bathtub. A beautiful outdoor area offering a large southwest-facing terrace The space The Bernadou house is a typical and traditional Cantal farm: a stable and a large barn (not in use) adjoin the house. It is a warm house, which has remained in the old style, with in particular a large "cantou" (typical fireplace of Cantal in which you can take place on evenings of bad weather to chat or read!). We are improving the comfort and decor of this vacation home over time by enhancing it with small modern touches. It is therefore a house with old but functional amenities (kitchen, bathroom)/see photos. Ground floor: the large living room with the fireplace has an alcove with a 140 double bed and a sitting area. one bedroom with 2 single beds on the ground floor and close to the living room kitchen, bathroom and toilet upstairs a large bedroom/living room with a double bed 160, a toilet area (sink) and a sitting area with TV and DVD available. you can access the house either through the garden or through the barn (upper floor). cars cannot be parked in front of the entrance to the house. You will therefore have to park at the barn or gate (about thirty meters from the house). Please leave the house in the same clean condition as you found it on arrival Guest access you will have access to the entire house. the barn and stable are only accessible for your possible comings and goings to your vehicle, but can in no case be play and relaxation areas (tools stored, old floors, ladders...) The workshop near the living room is accessible only if small DIY equipment is needed, for the same reasons as above. The garden consists of a large grassy terrace and a meadow descending towards the spruce plantation below. This space may occasionally be occupied by horses or donkeys belonging to our family. Access to the meadow will therefore be prohibited in this case. Please leave the house in the same clean condition as you found it on arrival Other things to note The GSM network is very average, especially for internet connections. no internet box in the house. disconnection assured!
