For a tiny house it has a spacious lower level with vaulted ceiling and upper bedroom loft. Wifi & smart TV. Nice warm heat and cool AC. Outdoor activity includes hammocks, swimming, boating (canoe, kayaks, john boat). For fishing we have boats, nets & fish-dressing station (bring poles & bait). About 13 miles from Palmyra and Monroe, nearest gas and groceries. The space This is your private lake to explore, boat, swim and fish (no license needed). Well stocked lake with several kinds of fish. Quiet, serene setting with beautiful sunsets. The lake house is spacious for a tiny house, with high vaulted ceilings and an upper loft open to below. The kitchen is fully supplied with tableware, cookware, cutlery and utensils. Kitchen has a full size refrigerator, two-burner cook top, small oven (holds a 12 inch pizza), microwave, double kitchen sink, toaster, coffee pot with coffee and filters. Also for cooking we have an outdoor charcoal grill and all grill utensils. Bring your charcoal and lighter fluid. We also have a rack for the fire pit for outdoor wood cooking. Firewood provided. We have hot dog sticks for wieners/marshmallows. Owner home is 250 yds away, visible from lakehouse. Newly built summer of 2021, a large covered patio for added shade. It has an outdoor eating area, a hanging bed/ropeswing, and deck boxes which store cushions and all sizes of life jackets. Stairs lead to an upper deck for star-gazing. Upper deck has a pubtop table set and lounge chairs Open wifi, no password needed, with high speed internet and smart TV. The lower level futon makes into a double bed. The upper loft is open to below and has shared space with a double and two twin beds. All beds have good, new mattresses. Walk-in shower off the main living space (limited privacy). There is also an outdoor shower under the covered patio. Fresh fluffy towels and basic toiletries are also provided. All bedding and bath towels are provided. Bring your beach towels. The kitchen has cooking staples, salt, pepper, sugar, flour, oil, coffee, filters, foil, plastic wrap, paper towels etc. Guests are welcome to explore the areas around the lake. Not suitable for pets. Guest access You will have total access to the entire lake site. Boating; canoe, kayaks, john boat. Swimming; we have several life jackets. Be warned, in summertime, my grandkids may be swimming at the other end of the lake. Owner home is about 250 yards away, visible from lakehouse. You may see/hear us on a 3-wheeler or side by side occasionally. We are available if you have questions or need anything. Other things to note Palmyra is the closest town, on Hwy 61, that will have numerous restaurants and a County Market grocery store. It is 12 miles from the lake house. Larger cities, Quincy Illinois and Hannibal Missouri are each about 35 minutes away.
