Cozy ski-in/ski-out 1 bedroom condo (with sleeping den) in the heart of Solitude ski resort village (located in Big Cottonwood Canyon). This 800+ square foot condo is one of the largest 1 bedrooms on the property. It's the ideal mountain getaway, with access to the Solitude Club which includes: hot tub, heated swimming pool, workout room, billiards room and movie room. Within walking distance to four eating/drinking establishments and the best snow on earth! After a long day of skiing/boarding, simply walk to the condo, put your equipment in your private storage locker and enjoy a nice homemade dinner prepared in the kitchen, which includes a stove, oven, microwave, crockpot and all the necessary cooking utensils. Too tired to cook? Just walk back outside to the village and choose between a handful of places to eat ranging from a casual pizza place to sit down restaurants. After dinner, snuggle up on the couch in front of the fireplace and put on a movie or head down to the hot tub and pool to soak or head to the Thirsty Squirrel for drinks and shuffleboard. We have tried to provide you with all of the comforts of home including essentials such as: ironing board and iron, hair dryer, shampoo & conditioner, high speed internet service, several board games, books and DVDs. The two TVs (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) include Direct TV with over 100 channels including HBO. The condo is located on the third floor, accessible by stairs or elevators, in a secured building, and includes convenient underground parking. Solitude is also within driving distance of several other world class ski resorts including: Brighton, Snowbird, Alta, Park City and Deer Valley. Downtown Sat Lake City and the airport are less than 45 minutes away. I live close by (just down the canyon) and will be available to welcome you here and help out with local recommendations for dining and entertainment. Having lived in Utah for 20 years, I have found Solitude to be my favorite ski resort because the snow is fantastic, the prices are reasonable and the lines are never too long. You can take one of several local transportation companies to Solitude or rent an SUV at the airport. Either way you are only about 45 minutes away.
