"Sweet Dreams" is in a private home in NE Salem only minutes from I-5. Ideally located away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet about 15 minutes to shopping, recreation, colleges and hospitals. The mountains & coast are an hour or two away depending on which direction you go. Relax on our enclosed deck as weather permits and watch the world go by. "PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOST LOCAL GUESTS." ~~ PROOF OF ID IS REQUIRED ~~ "PLEASE OBTAIN A P.O. BOX FOR YOUR MAIL!" This room is for one (1) person only. Your room has a warm and comfy feel with a Double Bed that allows this room space for you to relax, read and enjoy your stay. A Mini-Split Heater with a remote control is located on the wall close to the ceiling for your heating/cooling pleasure. A Fan or Stand Alone Heater is available should you need that extra cooling or warmth. There is a sweet antique Secretary/Desk in the room should you wish to set up your computer. An extra dresser should you need more space for your clothes or other items. TV is provided in this room or you connect to our Wi-Fi to watch programs on your computer or other device(s). The bathroom is a shared bathroom with a permanent adult male resident that was onboard prior to Airbnb. It has a large shower with a built in seat for your comfort. There is a Grab Bar to assist in getting in and out plus a Grab Bar inside the shower itself. The bathroom is just across the hall from your room. The Kitchenette offers a Full Size Refrigerator & Freezer, Double Kitchen Sink, Microwave, Electric Skillet, Dishes, Silverware, Glasses and Microwavable dishes and cupboard space for food, plus more. Please Note: You are considered a Guest, so when the booking asks how many guests, you count yourself as one. If you bring another person, that is guest number two. Please book accordingly. There is a $15.00 extra charge per guest beyond yourself. That cost helps to cover the costs for additional cleaning and laundry. We will be there to greet you when you arrive. After that, you will have a Private Entrance with your own private access code to our home's key-less entry. The key pad is located on the door itself. For your peace of mind, your room has a lock and key. Your room overlooks our deck, evergreen front lawn and part way down the street. Out of respect, please do not wear or use any type of fragrance (Perfume, Cologne, Body Spray, Various Scented Lotions, etc.) due to current guests who may have Scent Allergies and to prevent lingering scents left behind. If you need me, I will be here for you. Should you prefer privacy, I will respect that as well. PLEASE NOTE: We do not charge a Cleaning Fee. The Guest Service Fee is charged by Airbnb and we have no control over that, nor do we receive any money from the Guest Service Fee. Please read all of the Guest Manual. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of areas to walk or jog. We have a Dutch Bros a short 5 minute drive or Subway if you are hungry. We are within a 5 - 8 minute drive to Chemeketa Community College. There are various Parks nearby and if you want to see the mountains or the ocean, we are but an hour or so drive away, depending on which direction you are headed. Being on the outskirts of Salem this are offers a more peaceful environment, yet close enough to enjoy the movies, malls, down town or night life. Other then walking, we are on the Cherriots Bus Route, Uber, Lift or a Taxi may be called. Think of Sweet Dreams as your own Mini-Apartment while you are here. We hope this gives you a comfortable and secure feeling. You have your own private entrance, key-code, a shared bathroom and kitchenette with one other person who was and is a permanent male resident prior to Airbnb. Just like an Apartment, for those Long-Term Guests (Staying Two (2) Weeks or longer), you will need to supply your own personal items, including toilet paper, unscented air freshener, coffee, tea or other non-alcoholic beverages. As well as your own food, etc... Sometimes we have Day Sleepers who worked nights. On those occasions, we request that you respect their sleeping as you would want others to do for you. Do not bring other people/friends to our home, unless they are part of your booking. We sometimes have several guests in our home. This must be a comfortable situation for to you. PLEASE NOTE: We have security camera on the outside of our home. There is an inside security camera in the common area that faces the Dining Room, Living Room and part of the Kitchen and Entry Way.
