A new deluxe, stand or sit, motor operated adjustable height computer desk and Serta brand executive work chair, comfort rated at 8+hours, are excellent for work from home and gaming. Surge protected power strip, hard wired Ethernet connection, WiFi and built-in wireless device charger or USB plug-in. A 55-inch, home theater quality, 4K UHD HDR smart TV, equipped with Comcast Xfinity HD cable and a wall-mounted HDMI port for easy use of your personal media devices (Roku, Fire Stick, Chromecast etc.). Guests are welcome to utilize personal streaming apps through the TV however must be sure to log-out at the end of their stay. From the Pacific Ocean, the Puget Sound lowlands and the Olympic and Cascade Mountains to the semi-arid scab lands and irrigated agricultural areas of central and eastern Washington. Several down-hill ski resorts are just a couple of hours east at Snoqualmie Pass, Stevens Pass, Crystal Mountain and White Pass. For full day excursions, the Mount Rainier National Park, Nisqually River entrance is about 1.5 hours southeast via scenic highway SR7. Mount Saint Helens National Volcanic Monument is a 3 hour +/- drive south. Olympic National Park and Pacific Ocean beaches are about 2.5 hours to the west and northwest. North Cascades National Park is about 3 hours north near Mount Baker and may also be included in a multi-day loop trip to eastern Washington. Remember, clear communication ensures a smooth and enjoyable Airbnb experience for everyone involved! _____ The complimentary outdoor fireplace is available for your use except in times of high fire danger and/or government mandated burn bans. Complimentary firewood, kindling, matches, etc. are provided on request. _____ No smoking or vaping inside of the cottage. In consideration of all, and for your safety, we require that you do not burn candles or incense in the room. We also ask that you do not use heavily scented perfumes or colognes. _____ Third party bookings are not allowed. You may not book for occupancy by anyone other than the Airbnb account holder unless you are enrolled in the Airbnb for Work feature. We encourage eligible business guests to register per Airbnb protocols and use Airbnb for Work at booking to benefit from it's features. Maximum occupancy is 2 registered guests. All must be at least 13 years old, and accompanied by an adult over 21 years old. Only registered guests may stay overnight at any time. Daytime visitors are welcome of course (including children). _____ Our son Robert lives in the house adjacent to the cottage and is not part of our hosting team at this time. After arrival, please do not disturb him unless there is an emergency. All questions, requests and/or concerns should be sent to the host through the Airbnb message center via app or website. _____ We have 1 dog named Mars and 2 cats who usually keep to themselves in the fenced back yard of our separate, adjacent property. Mars may greet you on your arrival with a bark or two and he will quickly settle down (he thinks it's his job). He may also occasionally bark at passersby on the street but does not have access to your space surrounding the cottage which has a privacy fence. Because we have pets of our own, we require that you and/or your visitors do not bring any pets onto our property. Our pets will be very upset if other animals are present at any time. Other rules apply and are listed in our House Rules. _____ Because this is a semi-rural area and sidewalks are few and far between, our location is not near any services within a convenient, safe walking distance yet most are just a few minutes away by vehicle. _____ For long-term guests we have a key secured USPS mailbox at the street which is checked daily. We will sort any mail addressed to you and place it in your mailbox at the court-yard entry to the cottage for your convenience. Thank you for considering our cottage. We look forward to hosting you!
