Beautiful, Private 2-Bedroom Guest Suite near UGA!

Unique upstairs guest suite (private entrance) in a craftsman style house on a beautiful wooded setting next to a creek. Downtown Watkinsville shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Location is less than 6 miles from UGA, Sanford Stadium and all the fun of fabulous downtown Athens. We are also only 15 minutes from historic Madison. Whether GameDay weekends, parents' weekends, graduations, conferences, getaways, nearby hiking and mountain trips, this is the perfect choice!a The space This is a guest suite with a private, upstairs, exterior entrance. The suite is separated from the remainder of our home by an interior lock-off door. This is not simply a private room in our home. It is a self-contained guest suite. You will take the exterior stairs (one and a half flights) to the private entrance opening into the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed featuring a new memory foam mattress topped by high-end bedding. There is a comfortable, sunny reading nook with a nice view. A new, 50 inch smart TV is in the room for your viewing pleasure. There is a small pub table and two bar stools in this room. This room also has a closet alcove with a pod coffee maker, mini fridge with freezer, toaster and microwave. Gallon(s) of spring/drinking water provided for coffee brewing. Bottled water, coffee pods, coffee creamers, sweeteners provided. Paper plates, plastic cutlery, coffee mugs, wine glasses, napkins complete the coffee bar area. Basic toiletries, hairdryer, ironing board with iron are provided. The large master accommodates 2 guests. The second bedroom is available at a per person fee for groups larger than 5 and can accommodate up to 7 guests if the futon couch is utilized. The primary sleeping accommodations are two twin beds and one queen bed. All mattresses and bedding are new and are of top quality. The queen bed has comfortable memory foam mattress. The twin beds have mattresses but not memory foam. Pillows are new. The room is bright and cheery. This room has its own smart TV. Memory foam, bamboo covered pillows and down alternative pillows are available in each bedroom. Comfortable, quality bedding in each room includes allergy rated mattress and pillow covers. A new futon sofa is also in the second bedroom. The two bedrooms share a bathroom with a full tub/shower. Beautiful tiled floors and the stylish subway tiled shower complete the updated look. Plush towels and quality toiletries are ready for you in this sparkling clean bathroom. There is a $30 per extra person per night after 5 guests. Please choose the appropriate number of guests as you book. We take great care to deep clean and disinfect after each stay. Unlike some major hotels and other Airbnbs, we wash comforters and all blankets in addition to sheets and towels after each guest competed stay. We treat you like we want to be treated when traveling! We use COVID cleaning protocols for our safety and yours. Contactless check-in available! Guest access Guests can use the front porch dining area as well the Adirondack chairs on the creekside deck. Creek side fire pit area adjacent to creek deck now available to guests. We can get the fire started for you! Other things to note We are situated on Main Street, a sometimes busy road. We have sound machines in each room for you. We personally haven't found road noise to be a problem as the space has spray foam insulation. We are happy to give local tips! The space does NOT have a full kitchen but DOES have a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and cups/napkins/utensils. Room darkening Roman shades in each room pull up or push down ONLY from the bottom center. Please don’t pull from the sides.
