Swiss Jura mountains, altitude of 1111 m. Hiking, skiing, snowshoes, horse riding, are activities near the chalet (skis to rent at the ski ressort near the chalet). Biel, Bienne in french is 20 min drive from the chalet. Jura, Bern, Neuchâtel are 1 hour by car from the chalet. Wifi, sauna are free, easy to use. Prices includes "tourist tax 4.-" day/person. Free parking. (chalet is 30 m. walking distance from parking). Because of animals, please drive slowely in evening.. The space the chalet is well built, entirely in wood. Quiet surroundings.. If you want a typical swiss dish as "rösti" or fondue or raclette, just walk or drive to local farm where they cook for visitors. These farms are called "métairies". (good prices, friendly welcome in most métairies). We will show you how to reach them on foot or by car. They often open from thursday to sunday. Do not drink water from the tap, it is rain water. We supply enough water in bottles, at no cost. You can drink rain water if you boil it, rain water is perfect to cook. Sauna is easy to use, wifi is free of charge. Chalet heating : central heating + wood in the oven + 2 electrical heatings. Floor heating in the bathroom. Chalet is in swiss regional natural parc. Guest access You have access to all rooms in the chalet. Thank you not to walk with shoes in the chalet, we supply enough "slippers". No smoking in the chalet. Other things to note You will find a lot of guides and catalogues in the chalet about "some activities" to do in the region (walking, skiing, museums, chocolate factory visit, swimming pools, telecabines, etc).
