"Even in the rain it was breathtaking!" Guests are serenaded by abundant bird life and the soothing sound of waterfalls cascading into the tidal estuary below. Your modern suite features a spacious bathroom with W/D, a full kitchen, 9' ceilings letting in loads of light and 2 connecting bedrooms which comfortably sleeps up to 5 persons. A private deck leads to the water's edge where you can explore the Inlet, and maybe snag a salmon or crab for dinner. Look for "Tidal Dance" YouTube video. (Guest) Your private suite and deck overlooks the protected waters of Secret Cove inlet and estuary surrounded by Crown forest lands. It's a wonderful spot for relaxing or adventuring. Because we are far from any city lights, you can gaze at the luminescence and floating stars on the inlet waters. Paddlers can borrow our SUP, kayak or canoes to explore the gorgeous coastal scenery and marinas. You can even chart a course to our favourite waterfront restaurant at sunset. Guests will observe much wildlife that gather creek side. Expect to share space with deers, geese, ducks, herons, otters, seals, eagles, bears and species of birds not found elsewhere on the Coast. From your heated private deck with BBQ, a flat trail winds down to the water's edge where you can launch your favourite toy. We have a canoe, a kayak and SUP and "floaties" for guest use. (guest) Groceries can be purchased in town, or in a pinch, Halfmoon Bay General Store stocks some groceries and beer and wine. I swear they have the best farm fresh eggs. The adjacent cafe has excellent home-baked goods and the best pizza in town. We can also recommend nearby waterfront restaurants for the best sunset views.
