Enjoy a relaxed stay in the former home of Sir Norman Wisdom who lived here from 1958 to 76. It also belonged to Anne of Cleves, wife of Henry VIII. Located in the beautiful village of West Chiltington, on the edge of the South Downs national park, and just 15 miles from the coast, this 1 bedroom, self-contained annexe is a beautiful little cottage. It's ideally placed for walking holidays and is a popular base for all the Goodwood festivals. The space This beautiful self-contained annexe has its own entrance. It comes with everything you need to relax and unwind. Its exposed beams makes a snug, relaxing place to retreat to. The top floor used to house a full-size snooker table where Norman Wisdom would unwind after a long day's filming at Pinewood Studios. Guest access As well as the Annexe, you have use of a pretty courtyard for your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening after a long day. Other things to note Enjoy a welcome pack on your arrival. This includes all the useful essentials: Milk, bread, eggs, butter, bacon, coffee and tea (for stays of 2 nights or more). The bedroom and bathroom have limited headspace due to the age and nature of the property.
