The Emerald Valley Inn A-Frame is nestled in a quaint setting, surrounded by beautiful forests and meadows 10 minutes from Lake Crescent at the foot of the Olympic National Park. The delightful spot is ideal for camping close to the park amongst animals and mountain and forest views. There is parking for one vehicle near this site. There is no parking at this site. Granny’s Cafe is located on-site for dining. The space Elevate your camping experience by staying in our newly constructed A-Frame! Just bring your sleeping bag and camping gear. We have provided two camp mattresses, a picnic table, two chairs, and a Solo Stove fire-pit. There is also access to freshwater, men's and women's restrooms, and a shower room (your stay in an A-Frame site includes one free shower a day). Bundled firewood is for sale onsite. We have a mini-zoo on the property with goats, a donkey, chickens, and emus. (Please note that the floor of the A-Frames is slatted decking. Parking is available for one vehicle a short walk away). Located just 14 minutes outside Port Angeles, our guests can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Olympic Peninsula with easy access to town and some of the best hiking, hunting, fishing, and exploring you will ever find. There is so much to do in and around the Olympic National Forest, so take your time and enjoy your stay! Nearby Olympic National Park entrances like the Sol Duc, Hurricane Ridge, and the Hoh Rain Forest make this location an excellent "base camp" from which you can easily explore the Olympic Peninsula and towns like Forks, Neah Bay and beaches like Shi Shi Beach and Hobuck Beach. Explore the state and county parks, walk the rivers (Dungeness, Elwha, Sol Duc, and many more), kayak on Lake Crescent, or hang around and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Indian Valley. Locally popular Granny's Cafe is on-site, serving up delicious comfort food for lunch, and dinner. Be sure to try their sought after soft-serve ice cream and blackberry pie. Please check the Granny's Cafe Port Angeles website for hours of operation, including seasonal and holiday closures. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the tent site that you book and have access to the common areas of the property. Other things to note * This is an unfurnished camping structure with 2 sleeping mats inside to accommodate your own sleeping gear that you bring with you. Bring your own camping gear to set up at the site. * This IS NOT a furnished cabin. Again, it is a camping structure that eliminates the need for a tent. * There is parking for 1 vehicle near this site. There is no parking at this site. * Car/van camping is not allowed at this site due to space limitations. * Trailers and RVs are prohibited. * Please keep in mind that this campsite is on private property. * A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at your site but MUST remain on a leash at all times. We have free-range chickens on the property. * There are men’s and women’s restrooms behind the cafe building, as well as a portable toilet near the campsite. * A-Frame sites includes one 30 minute shower a day for you and your companion. (Must be scheduled) * A-Frame sites are limited to 2 guests. * (Max 2 guests at this site) For groups of multiple guests and vehicles, please book an additional site or contact us directly. * Bring your own firewood, or we do have bundles available for purchase. * To add to the beauty of our remote area, there is no lighting at the campsite at night. This is good to remember when you plan to arrive late after sunset. * Use of generators is prohibited at the campsite due to noise. * There is no WiFi service available at the camp sites. However, we do have good LTE/4G cell phone reception while on the property via the AT&T and Verizon networks in our area. * Granny’s Cafe is our locally renowned onsite cafe. Please check its website for info on operating hours as well as weekly, winter and holiday closures at grannyscafe dot net. The cafe IS NOT open 7 days per week.
