Loon Haven

Loon Haven is a newly rebuilt cottage, steps from the shore of Snow Pond/Messalonskee Lake. This camp was recently renovated by a popular TV show in Maine! At Loon Haven you will be able to enjoy all the best that Maine lake living has to offer. Swimming, fishing, kayaking, bonfires on the dock. Enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee in the morning with the loons. The cottage has a rustic feel with modern amenities so you can just relax and enjoy your vacation. The space The cottage has an open living space with a full kitchen, bathroom, and 2 small bedrooms on the first floor. There is also a large loft with a queen sized bed. There are fantastic wide open views of the lake and wildlife. You will have private access to a concrete dock that is perfect for swimming, fishing, fires in the evening and coffee in the morning. The cottage faces southeast so the sun in the morning is spectacular. There are kayaks, a canoe, and a pedalboat for guest use. We love creating memories with our family and friends and we can't wait to share our beautiful space with you and your family! Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the cottage, the dock, and the picnic table in front of the cottage. Common areas include the shared driveway and main yard. There are key pads on the doors that we will provide the code for. You will have a grill solely for your use. There is reliable wifi. Other things to note There is a gas stove, electric refrigerator and potable water. There are air conditioning units for your comfort as well as an electric heater for cooler evenings. You will have access to a gas grill and picnic table. There is an active train track that runs along the lake. The trains usually go by 3 times a day. We love the trains, but it is worth noting as the noise may be a bother to some people.
