The village boasts restaurants, bars, cafes, live theatre/music, boutique shopping, churches, a public swimming pool, an IGA, hospital and so much more! Within a ten-minute drive, guests can access idyllic surfing beaches, lakes, bush walks, golf courses, tennis courts, and other great attractions for the whole family. Bedding Configuration: Bedroom 1: One queen bed, sleeping up to 2 guests. Bedroom 2: Two king single beds, sleeping up to 2 guests. Bedroom 3: Two king single beds (that can be converted to a super king bed on request), plus a trundle for a child, and space for a BYO cot. Bedroom 4: Two king single beds sleeping up to 2 guests. Two extensive outdoor verandahs (one is gated) offers spectacular views, and the surrounding grounds provide ample space for games, picnics, and relaxation. Located on a cul-de-sac street with minimal traffic, Star of the Sea, Milton, ensures a peaceful, enjoyable and safe stay for all guests. Kindly note that during occasional church services, external toilets will be accessed via the eastern deck ramp. Please note this property is not pet friendly. Guest access With the exception of an office space with a separate entrance, the rest of this spacious and charming Guesthouse is yours. Check in is anytime from 2:00pm. Check out time is 10:00am. Kindly confirm your ETA the day before you arrive. Note, if travelling south, your GPS might direct you through the Milton township to a dead end part of Corks Lane. If driving south, take the first turn right, after you pass to 50 kmh sign entering Milton (you will spot the historic Catholic Church on Stoney Hill to your right). You will be living next door to this 130 year old church, a stunning landmark which locals treasure and cheer when they see it, because they are home. If driving north through Milton township, Corks Lane is the first turn left, after the BP petrol station. Your Guesthouse is opposite the entrance to St Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School in Corks Lane, and alongside the Catholic Church. Other things to note Welcome to the Star of the Sea Guesthouse. It is located on Yuin Country. If inclined, you are welcome to till and tend an on-site community garden, sharing in its produce. In other words, the Star of the Sea Guesthouse is an environmentally friendly enterprise. We want to protect our Earth, our common home, for future generations. The Guesthouse is managed proudly and generously by volunteers from Milton Catholic Parish. It is a not-for-profit venture.
