This coveted Agate Bay "A" Frame cabin has a beautiful knotty pine interior, new kitchen and bath, with a bedroom downstairs and an additional bedroom in the loft. Additional fold-out allows for extra guests. Kitchen and bathroom on the main level. An excellent wood-burning stove to cuddle up to and keep warm! The cabin also has a paved parking area for 3 vehicles. On a 1/4 acre lot located just 1 block up from the main Lake Tahoe highway. Agate Bay is located between Carnelian Bay and Tahoe Vista on the beautiful North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Just minutes to all of the ski resorts (Northstar, Homewood, Alpine and Squaw Valley) and 10 minutes to Kings Beach, 15 minutes to the casinos at stateline. Restaurants, shops and the lake just minutes away. Public transportation to all of N. Lake Tahoe and the ski resorts just 1/2 block away....... RENTAL MINIMUM STAYS ARE 5 NIGHTS. HOLIDAYS may require up to 1 week rentals. Gaps in calendar may allow for shorter rentals, please inquire. PLACER COUNTY REQUIRES a 12% OCCUPANCY TAX that is collected prior to arrival and is charged by AirBnb. Host may also request a Refundable Security Deposit to be paid after the reservation is confirmed if it isn’t included in the accommodation charges. After conclusion of the rental the Security Deposit will be refunded less any applicable charges as determined by the Host. Lake Tahoe can't be beat, all 4 seasons! Guest access Full use of Cabin, decks, large lot and parking area for vehicles. Unfortunately due to the fire danger in the area, Placer County and the Fire Dept. no longer allow outside fire pits. New Weber Gas Grill in 2021! Other things to note Please note that the cabin does not have a garage. In 2022 we added a new refrigerator, w/d and a dishwasher. We have a modern Flat Screen 42” TV with Roku Service including Netflix and Amazon plus a DVD Player (not Blu-Ray). Disappointing we know but Placer County has outlawed use of Fire pits in North Lake Tahoe. Please adhere to the law, fines are huge and will be passed on to Guests who violate local regulations. Local Tax 12.0% Placer County Occupancy Tax plus fees are INCLUDED when you book through Airbnb. Additional charges will be levied for Extra Guests beyond 4, whether for day or overnight use. Extra Cleaning charges will be levied at a minimum of $45/hour. Extra Garbage removal charges also apply. We require our Registration Form prior to arrival which includes names of Guests and address of primary Guest, and vehicle information including drivers license #. We also request agreement to House Rules.
