Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, Peaceful Villa lives up to its name. Located a short 3 minute walk to surfing at Mirissa Point as well as shops and restaurants, but far enough that you don't hear traffic. A perfect place to call home. The space We have 3 bedrooms each with a private bathroom. Feel free to use our kitchen, living room and patio where you can relax and listen to birds and peacocks. The occasional monkey also makes an appearance. You can store your surfboards in our living room so they don't take up space in your room. Each room is furnished with a king sized bed, mosquito net, ceiling fan, clothes rack and small table for storage. Bathrooms are modern and recently updated. This room has air conditioning. Shared kitchen, living room and covered patio. During your stay You'll be staying in our family home and we're available for anything you might need. Malika is happy to cook you a delicious, Sri Lankan meal. Her husband is a fisherman so you'll have access to fresh seafood daily. Their son Dinesh will be your main point of contact. He speaks English very well, so communication is not a problem. He also has a tuk tuk and is happy to drive you to different beaches or for sightseeing. He's a surfer as well so he's familiar with all the local surf points. If there's anything you need, just ask. Other things to note Getting to Peaceful Villa from Colombo is fairly straightforward. Take a train headed to Matara and get off at the Weligama station. You can also take a bus to Weligama. Dinesh can arrange to pick you up from there, or you can take any tuk tuk to Sunanda Road in Mirissa (tuk tuk will be 300 rupees).
