Studio on Higgins - In the heart of Margaret River

Studio on Higgins is in the heart of Margaret River town. You are a hop, skip & jump to local shopping, coffee shops, restaurants & a brewery on the main street. Our back gate opens up to the amazing Margaret River, Old Kate Rotary Park, forest walks, bike trails, Old settlement, the Hairy Marron coffee shop & bike hire. We are a short car ride to the beach and beautiful wineries & breweries. Please read description before booking! We want guests to be informed & aware of our space & situation. The space Insta: @studio.on.higgins The studio space is purpose built, fully approved and attached to our home. This studio was originally our garage which has been tastefully developed into a comfortable and inviting accommodation. Located in a tranquil environment we back onto forest and THE Margaret River, but very importantly only a 5 minute walk to local brewery with good food, The Brewhouse. Other food venues within two minute walk include The Hairy Marron cafe, La Scarpetta restaurant and Pizzica. (We are VERY lucky) The renovated studio has a queen bed, its own bathroom/laundry, bar fridge, toaster, hot beverage facilities and private entrance. The interior fittings and furniture are all made and designed by local artist and cabinet maker Anthony Debbo. This is complemented by his wife, Kate Debbo’s amazing art. This duos clever work has finished off the space with an amazing warmth. Studio on Higgins is separated by a locked sound proof door to ensure privacy. As our home is attached to the studio please expect to hear us every now and then and as we would expect, occasionally we would hear you also. Guest access Separate entrance VIA side of the house Own basic facilities, kettle, toaster, and fridge Cottage gardens and back gate access to The Margaret River. Other things to note We want guests to be informed & aware of our space. We have a two young children. You will hear them during the day when you stay. Guests have trialed noise levels, so far so good! Absolutely no one hears anything overnight. Please be aware that you will hear us during the day when you are in your bathroom/laundry area (and hopefully not at night when your door is closed) - if this is something you’re not into. Please do not proceed with the booking :) Update : we have new neighbours ❤️ Yay! They are renovating their home when they are back from FIFO work, which doesn’t seem to be often. We’ve done our best to ask for a heads up of any major developments so please be aware you could hear some work being done next door during the day if they home.
