Our handbuilt, secluded cabin has wall-to-wall windows, with expansive views and a truly immersive experience in nature. The space Welcome to the Cabin at Hill Country Nature Retreat! Note: This space is designed for adult guests (18+) seeking a quiet, nature-focused retreat. We’re unable to accommodate children under 18 or infants. Find some peace and quiet in our 400 sq ft cabin, fully designed and built by your hosts Marlena and Eugene. With its stylish interiors and outdoor options, you’re sure to find plenty of moments to relax here. Enjoy your coffee from the front porch or screened in back porch, cozy up with a good book in the hammock or enjoy a movie in bed with our fast Wifi (bring your laptop!). You’ll also have your own trail through the forest to an ancient oak tree (you may see other guests at the tree.) Our gravel driveway stretches a scenic mile without potholes, but it may be unsuitable for extremely low-riding vehicles, and those with front spoilers or body kits. Occasional hunting sounds from neighbors during hunting season. You may see an occasional cat strolling through, feel free to say hi! Local Attractions: 15-20 mins to Blanco town square: Oro Bianco water buffalo dairy, brewery, antique shops, restaurants. Our property is accessed via a well-maintained, one-mile-long narrow gravel driveway with water diversion berms, so please drive slowly. The scenic route offers opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Guest access Your stay at Hill Country Nature Retreat includes exclusive access to the Cabin, the trail to the Ancient Oak, and your outdoor areas. Rest assured that you’ll be immersed in a secluded retreat during your stay without interruption. The cabin is conveniently close to your parking spot. While maintaining our privacy at our home 200 feet away, we're readily available if you require assistance. Our property is accessed via a well-maintained, one-mile-long narrow gravel driveway with water diversion berms, so please drive slowly. The scenic route offers opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Other things to note The road to reach our property is 1 mile long and is gravel and bumpy. There are no potholes but it may not be suitable for vehicles with low ground clearance (such as sports cars with front spoilers or body kits), as they may scrape.
