Irene: House in a 19th-century Granary with Pool

Description

Discover the charm of Irene, a one-of-a-kind apartment created from the historic 19th-century granary of Villa “Il Maggese.” Featuring wooden beams, exposed brickwork, and a cozy fireplace, it offers a private stone terrace perfect for outdoor dining. Nestled within the villa's park and offering access to the beautiful pool among the olive trees, it is the ideal retreat for those seeking authentic Tuscan charm in Cortona. The space The Irene apartment is a special place to stay, located on the second floor of what was once the old granary of our 19th-century Villa-Agriturismo. This original feature gives the accommodation a rustic and warm atmosphere, unlike any other area of the villa. Access is via a charming outdoor stone staircase that leads directly from the park to your private terrace. Inside, the 55-square-meter space is a tribute to Tuscan tradition: Living Area: A large open-plan space with wooden-beam and brick ceilings, an equipped kitchen (oven, stove, refrigerator), a dining area, and a living room made cozy by a small fireplace. There is also a comfortable single bed here. Sleeping area: A spacious double bedroom, furnished with period-style furniture that reflects the history of the house. The Terrace: An exclusive space in front of the entrance, equipped with an umbrella and a table, where you can enjoy the coolness of the park and the view of the villa's courtyard. Guest access During your stay, the Irene apartment will be at your complete disposal. The access is independent and is via a distinctive external stone staircase that leads directly from the park to your private terrace.
