Misty Mountain Hop is the quintessential 4 season mountain home. With views all around & the Methow River just across the road, our Mazama mountain home is sure to delight. The North Cascades are right out the door - hike, bike, ski, snowmobile, relax! Built with love and a touch of luxury, our home is the ideal place to enjoy all that the Methow Valley has to offer. It is a quiet respite in today’s busy world. The space Mazama, WA in the beautiful Methow Valley is home to one of the most extensive trail systems in the United States. The home is private and peaceful with views galore, yet there is as much activity as you could want right out the door. Our home is warm and comfortable and designed for relaxation. We have brought the natural world inside with heated slate floors in the bathroom and mud room, custom wood plank floors throughout, river tumbled granite counter in one bath, soapstone counters in the kitchen and a variety of wood throughout. We love comfort and want to share that with our guests. You will find cozy down comforters, feather beds, a huge sectional, lots of movies, a gourmet kitchen, an espresso machine, a claw foot bathtub and plenty of places to sit and enjoy. Please be aware that the internet here is SLOW. And you may not have cell coverage. Did we mention slow internet? We have a large DVD collection, as at times, it is impossible to stream a movie. Guest access Misty Mountain Hop is on a large wooded acre lot. Public river access is a very short walk away and you are welcome to use our adjacent soccer field. We will leave our gear (skis & snowshoes) for use. Like 8 feet of snow. If it dumps a bunch of snow, the plow will eventually be around. Sometimes it takes awhile, but don’t worry. In the summer months, we refer to this time Fire Season. Since 2014, the Methow Valley has not seen a summer without a wildfire. Please be aware of this when booking. We will not refund your stay unless we are on a level 2 or 3 evacuation order. Thank you for understanding. Finally, in the winter months, guests must be able to use a wood stove. There is a propane fireplace plus heated floors in two rooms, but in the coldest months, you will need to use the wood stove. Plus, it just provides a much nicer heat. There is a manual explaining how to use it, and obviously there is plenty of wood.
