Bala Bright en-suite room, town house Bala Lake

Set within a quiet courtyard Ty Llwyd is part of the former Bala workhouse, dating from around 1836, a recently renovated 3 storey Victorian terrace. Bala is nestled in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park where you can find an abundance of truly stunning landscapes to explore from the doorstep. Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) is a short walk from the house, with all local amenities pubs, shops, cafes within 200 yards. The space We are offering a large, bright, en-suite bedroom with king size bed on the first floor, accessed by a wide staircase with handrail. The Room has a double shower, tea/coffee making facilities, free WiFi and smart TV. There is a small fridge available on the landing for shared guest use only. Breakfast will be served in the large lounge /diner on the ground floor. We provide a choice of home made breakfast options, including American pancakes, omelettes and breakfast pastries all freshly made by our resident cook (the wife!) as well as toast, cereals, tea and coffee and fruit juice. This is a family home we share with an 11 year old friendly Jack Russell Terrier called Shankly. He does not have access to the bedroom but please don’t book if you suffer from pet allergies or do not like dogs. Safe storage for bicycles is available. Guest access Parking is in the public car park opposite the courtyard and we will provide a parking pass for your stay. The town and lake shore are easily accessible by foot and are only minutes away. Access to the shared courtyard is through an arched gateway, there is a key code pad on the gate and the code will be given to you on arrival. A door key and room key will be given to guests. During your stay We will be available to assist or answer any queries during your stay. We want you to be comfortable and relaxed during your time here and anything we can do to help please ask. Other things to note Strictly no smoking is allowed anywhere within our property, smokers are welcome to use either courtyard areas outside. There are no guest cooking facilities within rooms. Breakfast will be provided daily each morning by hosts.
