It's only a 5 minute drive to the local town with a hotel, leisure centre, driving range, cinema, churches and shops. Rosie's Cottage Welcomes families, friends, walkers, cyclists, golfers and anyone who likes to enjoy the quiet countryside. The space Rosie's is a picturesque Irish style thatched cottage which was newly restored in 2011. The original shell of Rosie's dates back 350 years ago!! However, the Glass family brought it back, re-thatching the roof, completely restoring and refurbishing the inside. It's ideal for tourists who wish to stay in a Traditional sytled Irish cottage when they come to visit, or for anyone who wants a break from busy towns and cities, but not too far to visit the local town. Maghera offers opportunities to simply relax, visit the local shops, the newly refurbished 'Walled Garden' and try the local cafe's. If you like to go for long walks, there are numerouse routes to take, the local forests, 'The Carn' Mountain or visit the towns historic monuments. Local pubs offer music at weekends, and the local hotel also provides night entertainment also. Guest access Rosie's cottage is a 4* status self-catering establishment. Guests will have full use of the space. They will have full access to the cottage, with 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and living area.
