Please Read the space details below before booking :) "Show More Link" - Lovely one-bedroom basement apartment (no kitchen). 3 mins walk from the subway and a 5-minute ride to Woodbine park and the beaches. Important information about the place is below. Note: we tend to be up earlier in the mornings with the dogs and go to bed relatively earlyl. If you bring a pet, please add them to the reservation. The space Lovely spacious dedicated one-bedroom basement apartment; with ensuite private bathroom, washer and dryer. (No kitchen). Please read the details before booking. We have two dogs (Labrador mix- Compass, and German Shepherd- Josh) who are very friendly but have big voices. They will likely bark when you approach the property, but they are not aggressive. If you encounter them, don’t be shy and say hi :) If you have any allergies to dogs or are sensitive to dogs barking, our place probably would not be the best fit. As much as we try to keep the house clean and sanitized we always find dog hairs somewhere. It is crazy! We want you to feel comfortable and know that it’s possible you’ll bump into us in the front yard or the dogs. We are both working professionals and we run on a 9am -5pm schedule, the dogs kind of dictate our diurnal lifestyle. There will be some noise, and definitely some barking (especially during deliveries). We live on the main and second floor, however, we are very reserved and mindful and will not bug you in any way. Be mindful, that Compass and Josh are up early in the morning usually excited in the morning right after a restful sleep, but we always take them out first thing. We would like to emphasize that the basement apartment is part of the house and sounds will travel no matter what. If you are uncomfortable with the possibility of hearing us or the dogs, this may not be the best fit. The front door uses a keypad to lock rather than a key. We’ll provide you with the code closer to your reservation date. There is street parking available, close to the house through the city, at the cost of ~$15 every 24 hours. There is also a pay Green P parking lot a block away (Next to Shoppers). You can purchase a Toronto Temporary parking permit on the Toronto Temporary Parking Permit website. To be mentioned: - Please be mindful that we live on the property. - Please note that the unit is in the basement and as such the temperature is typically a bit cooler. We do our best to adjust it and want you to be comfortable but please be prepared and plan accordingly. - Please keep the noise level down after 11 pm (i.e. loud music or TV) - We are 9 am to 5 pm kind of people - Please no check-in and/or check-out in the middle of the night (i.e. 4 am) - You are more than welcome to come and go anytime, we just want to avoid the extra noise with late check-ins and luggage. - Please, no more than two people on the property at any time. - The house is located in a quiet and residential neighbourhood; please be quiet when outside and when entering or leaving the property. - Please, no smoking on the property, including in the front yard. Our place will be ideal if you are looking for a place to have a good and comfortable sleep and a shower before hitting the road again. It is a simple and modest accommodation for easygoing people like we are, and the low price reflects that (Toronto is so expensive :( ). So please remember that when you review your stay. It is a basement, so I would not recommend it if you have never lived in one before (noise and sunlight may be a sore spot for some). Where does your money go?
