The space This is a wonderful, romantic Roman three bedroom penthouse - conjured up in an ancient building in one of Rome's great piazzas by a top Roman architect. He played with the curves and created a tower penthouse jewel over Rome with a very large eat-out terrace and views of St. Peter's and the roofs of ancient Rome. It has that wow factor that only an ancient Roman place combined with modern interior design can give you. From the master bedroom you have a view of one of the 7 hills of Rome - the very green Aventino (the most upmarket of the 7 hills Rome was built on). The master boasts a large terra-cotta shower, a 50 inch TV, and original beamed ceilings. The second bedroom can fit two single beds or a queen bed as you prefer. There's an ensuite bathroom with a decent shower and easy access to the rooftop garden. There's a wonderful view of the Aventino from the window. The third bedroom is fully air conditioned and has comfortable double bed and a very large TV fitted with Netflix (AppleTV). It is an internal bedroom so it does not have a window. It has access to a bathroom for the hallway. This is the quieter side of Trastevere. Windy cobble stone streets just as the Northern side of Rome's entertainment/ancient slave district, but there are no huge crowds here. Lots of pubs, restaurants etc within a minute walk but you'll have a quieter experience than at my other two places in Rome. You will feel the very special nature of this place - it is an architect's jewel - overlooking the eternal city.
