Private Rm #3 in Renovated Silicon Valley Bungalow

Centrally located in the heart of silicon valley. We are within walking distance (less than 10 min) to lots of great restaurants and beautiful Municipal Rose Garden! With a short drive (less than 10 min), you can get onto I-880, I-280 and Hwy 17, Santana Row / Westfield Mall, The Alameda, Downtown San Jose / Campbell / Willow Glen, San Jose Airport, Caltrain Station . The space Welcome to our completely renovated Silicon Valley Bungalow, Fast Mesh Network WiFi (~120Mbps), Whole House Premium Water (drinkable water drink any tap) and amazing courtyard surrounded by fruit trees. This room is really small (7’ x 9’11”), but still offers a comfortable twin bed with 2 windows facing the backyard, computer desk with a monitor (HDMI connection), a storage unit with lamp and a mini fridge, microwave, water filter pitcher, electric kettle, etc. You will be able to self check-in, but please confirm your reservation and checkin instruction beforehand, especially when you plan to checkin really late - we might be at sleep. An unique virtual key will be generated automatically for the duration of your stay. The key will be valid starting at 3:00pm of the check-in date and expired at 11:00am on the check-out date. Make sure you checkin to the right room number and find the physical key (on the desk) to lock your room as well. To ensure we have a safe and secure place for everyone staying with us. Please keep the door locked at all times. The property is equipped with video surveillance 24/7. Make sure to put down the correct number of guest who will be staying with you in the reservation and informed us through Airbnb app who will be visiting you during your stay in advanced. Any unsolicited visitors will be considered trespassing, thanks for your understanding! Guest access All private room guests will access it through the backdoor of the house through digital key lock. To unlock the door, cover the keypad to wake up the lock, enter the pin and press (the checkmark). Wait for the lock to retract, then enter the home. Then close the door, and turn the knob to the left, so the door is locked. Please always lock the door when you leave. To lock the door, press any key on the keypad, you will hear the lock engage. The door is locked. To check out, leave the room key on the desk (don't lock the room), and lock the exterior door on your way out. At this time we do not allow access to the kitchen, but please feel free to get water from the sink (water filter & electric kettle are included in the room). During your stay About Me: I'm software engineer by trade living in the bay area since 2000. Currently I am working on my own startup (in the garage). If you are techie or interested in startup, we will have a lot in common :) Other things to note This room is right next to the entrance, so it might be a bit noisy. If you are light sleeper, we offers 33dB disposable foam earplugs. We use Nest thermostat to automatically set the temperature between 68 - 75 Fahrenheit for our entire house (AC/Heat). Note: the vent is located on the hallway. Feel free to let the air in sometimes. If this room get too warm or too cold, please use the floor fan or space heater in the room help regulate the temperature. Due to we have toddlers around the house, we offer 2 pairs of disposable ear plug for each room for anyone who are light sleepers. The shower can drain slowly sometimes. If it is a problem, please let us know. NOTE: We are currently adding a tiny guest house (160 sf) at the back of the property (you won't see it till you are in the courtyard), so we may have to move some materials through the courtyard between 9a-5p during the week. Sorry for any potential inconvenience we cause, but we will do our best to keep the common area clean and minimize any interruptions.
